The familiar and domestic begins to feel ambiguous: soft and impersonal, welcoming and estranging.
The curved surface of the bathtub, the delicate folds of the white curtain and the still water create an intimate and sensual atmosphere.
The geometric precision and metallic coldness feel clinical and aseptic.
Their juxtaposition unsettles the nature of the space.
Nothing seems to happen, like in a silent ritual, in which time and logic are suspended and we are invited to stay and inhabit the latent.
The everyday nature of the objects is transfigured, evoking something beyond analytical understanding – something to be received rather than explained.
