Ordinary and even slightly bleak residential buildings appear suspended in a rarefied nocturnal atmosphere, where halos and almost weightless presences emerge.
Their modest materials and unappealing details recede into darkness and light, revealing elusive qualities and a slightly unsettling beauty.
The images hover between visibility and absence, familiarity and estrangement.
As thresholds between the prosaic and the dreamlike, they inhabit a moment in which the mundane seems to open, almost imperceptibly, onto something else.
