Ephemera / Charta is a site-specific installation.
A tent, a cocoon, a bridge of arboreal elements,
a space you can enter, that surrounds you with its sensual folds, comforts the spirit, makes you feel lulled.
The white sheets diffuse the light through subtle variations of transparency, creating a calming atmosphere, poetical and immaterial.
You can rest your mind in it, you can move through it as in a cathartic passage.
Or you can perceive it as an entangled trap of hanging tentacles.
Made of suspended baking paper, the installation evokes images far removed from the practical use of this kitchen material.
Its common associations are here subverted.
