Far beneath the level of storm [serie Abyss]

In Far Beneath the Level of Storm [Abysses], the title evokes a realm beyond disturbance, where time seems to slow, movement subsides, and silence acquires an almost tangible presence. Yet the image remains unsettled, balancing attraction and disquiet, vitality and decay, the natural and the elusive.

The photographs depict the submerged landscape of a riverbed, where decaying vegetation and turbid water dissolve into an ambiguous visual field.

The image resists immediate recognition, oscillating between landscape and abstraction, immersion and distance, organic matter and apparition.

Familiar forms lose their descriptive certainty, opening onto a space where perception remains suspended.
