White volumes emerge through soft reliefs and sensual lines.
It is not clear whether what we see is soft or hard, intentionally modelled or spontaneously shaped.
The forms and fissures appear engraved and embossed by precise yet involuntary forces that seem to have eroded and carved the material into almost geological landscapes.
Without a fixed scale or orientation, the subjects – laundry soap bars – create ambiguous visual associations, recalling waves of ivory, wax, marble or even rifts in connective membranes and edible matter.
The perception remains open within a permeable ambiguity, where strong and vulnerable, bodily and mineral, intimate and distant, coexist.
