Abysses it’s a photographic work, a serie of images of vegetation and water on a river shore.

The pictures are real photos but the ambiguous atmosphere recalls a remote space, an indeterminate elsewhere, and it’s not clear if what we see occurs naturally.

The limit between natural and unnatural, emerged and submerged, pure and decomposed is uncertain. Contrasting aspects coexist and the images can be perceived at the same time as welcoming and unsettling.
The unpleasant appears sublimated. The time transcended into a suspended meditative atmosphere.
