As we are

There is a degree of intimacy with the objects we touch, which come into contact with our skin, as if they could absorb something of our existence, collect and embody our warmth, our nakedness, our vulnerability.

Through photography, the artist highlight something remote, which transcends the physical matter of the objects and their mere ordinary and practical aspects.

In the images the soap bars acquire an evocative character.
Their surfaces are torn, lacerated, swollen, as if they’ve spontaneously shaped themselves into forms dense of existence.
